Details

Trek's Lexa is designed from the ground up for women so it will fit you perfectly and ride like a dream. Its light, nimble-handling Trek Alpha White Series aluminum frame dances down the road and floats over the climbs. And, this thoroughbred is equipped with precision components from the easy-rolling wheels and tires, to the crisp-shifting compact drivetrain and confidence-inspiring dual-pivot brakes with women's-specific levers. You also get a nice women's seat and a fine Bontrager bar and stem for top comfort. This fun road rig is ready to take you everywhere you want to go, from touring the countryside to cruising local loops for fitness.

Trek's WSD bikes are tailor-made for women.
Trek's WSD bikes feature women's-specific frames and components for a wonderful, custom fit and amazing ride. For example, the frames sport short top tubes, tall head tubes, steeper seat-tube angles and decreased head angles. These details ensure top-notch handling, comfort and pedaling efficiency. Complementing the great ride are proportional crankarms, anatomic saddles, narrow handlebars, short-reach controls and small-diameter grips. Take a test ride and experience the difference!

Not Comfortable

Comments:

I ride every day. I bought this bike last May and am still trying to get comfortable in the seat. We paid a bike shop 150.00 to fit us to our bikes and keep having to go back to try something new. I'm starting to think the whole design is never going to work for me!The performance is great but when you can't wait for the ride to end so you can get off, who cares?

I think this is a good bike, especially for new riders. I enjoy it very much. The only problem is shifting gears. [...] I would recommend Bike Barn to anyone shopping for a new bike.

    Comments:

I initially got the bike for commuting 10 miles twice a day. The 10 mile ride only takes me about 35 minutes riding at a comfortable pace and I still have energy to work for 8 hours. I am also starting to train for competitions on it. Great bike and a great way to save money on gas too.

    Solid entry level women's bike

    Comments:

It's a pretty good bike for the price point. The only thing I don't like so far is that I would like to be able to shift to heavier resistance because I am used to having to work harder from winter training on a stationary bike. I bought this bike so that I could begin competing in races and in my opinion it will serve me well.

      Comments:

this is my first road bike so I can't comment much on comparing this to other bikes in its class, but if you currently ride a mountain bike and plan to ride on mostly paved surfaces, this is a wonderful upgrade! the bike is very light and I find it very easy to increase my speed quickly and efficiently, the seat and handles are comfortable and I find it easy to ride for long periods of time. I can't think of any negatives to comment on really, of course if you plan to ride on uneven surfaces the narrow tires will slow you down, but other than that, I am very happy with this bike.
